Dress for Success (DFS) Vancouver is a registered Canadian Charity.

DFS provides disadvantaged women with professional attire, career development tools and a network of support to help them thrive in work and in life.

Each DFS client receives personalized attention to help her select an interview-appropriate ensemble. Once the client has gained employment, DFS provides her with a few separates to expand her working wardrobe. These clothes symbolize DFS’ faith in every woman’s ability to succeed.

The DFS ‘Professional Women’s Group’ provides ongoing support to help women build successful careers. Former clients, now employed, meet monthly for networking and educational sessions. Sessions range from office etiquette and communications to personal finance and well-being.

• Supported by more than 350 volunteers, a volunteer board of 10 people, and 4 paid staff.
• More than 17,000 women have been helped on their journey to economic independence since 1999.
